Regional innovation profiles highlight the diversity of North Rhine-Westphalia's innovation landscape
With the Regional Innovation Profiles, NRW.innovativ provides an overview of the key questions regarding the status quo and potential of regional innovation activities.
Among other things, the following questions will be examined:
- To what extent do research and development, start-up activity, or patent activities shape the regional innovation landscape?
- What future topics are the focus of innovation efforts?
- Which key actors, networks and clusters play a crucial role in this?
Regional innovation profiles for the nine economic regions of the state were developed in partnership between the network association regions.NRW and the NRW.innovativ competence center of the state government.
They form the starting point for the creation of a common picture of innovation activity in North Rhine-Westphalia, which results from the regional innovation systems.
The innovation profiles also offer an indicative access to the regional structure, provide an overview of important innovation topics, and offer information on regional networking and research activities.
