What is being funded?
Funding is high-risk, application-oriented, and pre-competitive research and development (R&D) projects in transnational consortia. The aim is to develop innovative solutions for a resilient and sustainable supply of raw materials, thereby strengthening the competitiveness and resource sovereignty of the economy.
The focus is on projects with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) between 2 and 7that increase the maturity level of the developed technology by at least one level during the project duration. For projects with a low TRL, it must be clearly demonstrated how they contribute to closing key knowledge gaps for improved raw material supply.
