North Rhine-Westphalia promotes competence network for climate protection and sustainability in SMEs
The competence network, founded from the technology network it's OWL, is supported by the state with 3.1 million euros.
The East Westphalia-Lippe region is to develop into a model region for sustainable value creation. The central hub of this project will be the competence network established from the technology network it's OWL . In the coming years, this network will support small and medium-sized enterprises in resolutely addressing and overcoming the challenges of the future.
The initiative aims to develop flagship projects for North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and a supra-regional transfer model from it's OWL. Key areas of focus include circular value creation and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The state of NRW is funding the competence network, which will be based at it's OWL Clustermanagement GmbH, with
3.1
millions of euros
until the end of 2026.
