Companies from North Rhine- Westphalia can apply with environmentally and climate -friendly solutions from March 18th .
The NRW Environmental Business Award 2026 is entering a new round , recognizing companies that combine economic success with active environmental and climate protection . The award seeks innovative businesses from North Rhine- Westphalia whose products , services , or business models demonstrably contribute to sustainable development
The competition is open to companies of all sizes – from start -ups and small and medium-sized enterprises to established firms . Awards will be given to companies that combine environmental responsibility with entrepreneurial strength , thereby providing important impetus for the economy and society .
The application period begins on 18 March , 2026 , and is expected to run until the end of June 2026. The award ceremony will take place on November 18, 2026, as part of the SUMMIT Environmental Economy NRW .
Companies headquartered or with substantial business activity in North Rhine- Westphalia are eligible to participate , provided their solutions make a measurable contribution to environmental and climate protection . An independent panel of experts will evaluate the submitted applications based on predefined criteria.
