Eco-innovation through DigiRess II
The DigiRess II funding program, a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment and the Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of North Rhine-Westphalia, is providing new impetus to the Rhenish mining region. With the clear goal of driving structural change through digital innovations, the program focuses on the ecological transformation of business activities. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of digitalization measures that enable more efficient use of resources.
DigiRess II is designed to promote projects that not only demonstrate digital innovation but also offer concrete solutions for a more sustainable economy. This initiative offers SMEs, large companies, and research institutions the opportunity to be at the forefront of the green transition while simultaneously increasing their competitiveness.
Interested companies are invited to submit their project outlines by the deadlines of April 15 and June 15, 2024. With a program duration until 2028 and financial support through the Investment Act for Coal Regions, DigiRess II signals a long-term commitment to promoting environmental innovation and digital progress.
