Three selected consortia are further developing digital and sustainable solutions for healthcare in the Care for Sustainable Innovation (CSI) project.
As part of the Care for Sustainable Innovation (CSI) , a panel of experts selected three new innovation partnerships in July 2026, which will be supported until the end of 2027. The consortia will receive individual support through workshops, coaching, network access, and assistance with financing and visibility. The goal is to accelerate the integration of innovative solutions into healthcare and to strengthen the Aachen region as a real-world laboratory for health innovations.
The selected partnerships cover different fields of application: JawBuddy is developing a digital self-therapy for people with craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD), CLARAPLAN is focusing on AI-supported care planning to relieve nursing staff, and MediSync is working on an AI-based documentation solution that supports doctors and other healthcare professionals with administrative tasks.
Following the selection process, the consortia will begin a joint working phase. In up to ten workshops, they will further develop business models, analyze market potential, and create practical application scenarios.
CSI connects stakeholders from the healthcare sector, science, business, and other industries to jointly advance digital and sustainable innovations. The project is supported by several regional partner organizations and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
