MGZstart Scholarship: Funding for media startups in North Rhine-Westphalia
The Media Founders Center NRW (MGZ) offers targeted support for aspiring entrepreneurs and young companies in the media industry through its MGZstart scholarship. The scholarship includes €12,000 in seed capital, access to valuable expertise, and integration into a strong network of industry experts. The application deadline is November 30, 2024.
Target group: The scholarship is aimed at founders and young companies in the fields of film (animation, fiction, non-fiction), advertising, corporate films, games (computer games, software development, mobile apps), and social media. The program runs for one year and is awarded once per company.
Application requirements:
- The company must have been founded no more than three years ago.
- The company headquarters must be located in North Rhine-Westphalia.
- A university degree in media-related fields or relevant professional experience is required.
