Together for climate neutrality and innovation
The newly established Bioeconomy Council of North Rhine-Westphalia has officially commenced its work. This expert panel, appointed by the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia, aims to strengthen North Rhine-Westphalia as a hub for the bioeconomy. Under the leadership of Climate Protection Minister Mona Neubaur and chaired by Prof. Katja Frühwald-König and Prof. Dr. Ulrich Schurr, the council will work on developing a bioeconomy strategy for North Rhine-Westphalia, which is to be completed by the end of 2025. The strategy process includes broad participation from stakeholders and citizens.
