The flagship project Artificial Intelligence and Digital Initiative for the Skilled Trades in North Rhine-Westphalia (KIDiHa) invites you to an event entitled “AI in the Skilled Trades: Current Status – Trends – Perspectives” on November 8, 2024. The event will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive stations on the topic of AI in the skilled trades. Dr. Christian Temath, Managing Director of KI.NRW, will also give a presentation.

Digitalization and the use of AI offer many opportunities for the skilled trades, but also present challenges. The results of the "AI Index for Skilled Trades in North Rhine-Westphalia," which, according to KIDiHa, is the largest and most comprehensive study on AI in the skilled trades in Germany to date, will be presented at the event. This study shows how skilled trades businesses are currently positioned in these areas and where they see the greatest potential.

The program is rounded off by contributions from experts such as Dr. Christian Temath from KI.NRW, Dr. Thomas König from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MWIKE), Mark Schnitzler from the Aachen Chamber of Skilled Crafts and the Academy for Craft Design, as well as representatives of craft businesses .

Admission to the event is free, but registration is requested.
