Discussing solutions for the mobility of tomorrow together
How can automated and connected mobility be implemented in concrete terms in cities? This question will be addressed at the innocam.FORUM 2026, entitled "The City in Motion: Experiencing Automated and Connected Mobility," on May 7, 2026, in Bochum. The focus will be on transferable solutions for livable and sustainable cities – from intelligent traffic management and connected infrastructure to automated public transport services and AI-supported road planning.
The event brings together experts from municipalities, businesses, academia, and public administration, providing a forum for exchanging ideas on technical, regulatory, and practical aspects of the mobility transition. Together with its cooperation partners BOGESTRA and the Bochum Economic Development Corporation, innocam.NRW aims to demonstrate how digital technologies, data, and new applications can contribute to making transportation safer, more efficient, and more resilient.
The program includes expert presentations, moderated short discussions, and interactive panel discussions. Topics presented will include data-driven mobile online services, intelligent transportation systems in North Rhine-Westphalia, and municipal perspectives on new mobility concepts. The forum will be complemented by an accompanying trade exhibition offering insights into current projects, technologies, and best practices from North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond.
The innocam.FORUM 2026 will take place on May 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the BOGESTRA Engelsburg depot in Bochum. Doors open at 9:00 AM.
