5G.NRWeek in North Rhine-Westphalia: Mobile communications meets sustainability
Discover the exciting world of mobile communications technology as the Competence Center 5G.NRW presents the fourth 5G.NRWeek from November 13th to 16th under the motto "5G and Digitainability – What's happening in NRW?". The week-long event offers everything from virtual focus sessions to the concluding annual conference at the historic Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex in Essen.
The highlights:
- Monday, November 13: Immerse yourself in Edge Computing in the Wild.
- Tuesday, November 14: Explore the innovation potential of 5G.
- Wednesday, November 15: Take a look into the future with a session on 6G THz.
- Thursday, November 16: Annual conference focusing on “Digitainability” – a concept that combines digitalization and sustainability.
The focus will be on questions surrounding the connection between digitalization and sustainability, the efficiency gains achieved through 5G, and its contribution to social sustainability. In addition, a panel discussion with North Rhine-Westphalia's Minister of Economic Affairs, Mona Neubaur, will offer fascinating insights into the role of 5G in a sustainable society.
