New funding module supports companies with up to €15,000
MID-Digital Security helps micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to identify and fix security gaps in their own operations, thus becoming more resilient to cyberattacks.
MID-Digital Security helps micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to identify and fix security gaps in their own operations, thus becoming more resilient to cyberattacks.
The new sub-program promotes measures in three different priority areas, which can be combined in any way:
- Companies can use the funding to have an analysis of the current state of their IT security carried out and to take measures to eliminate the weaknesses identified.
- Employee training is promoted to raise awareness of digital security and provide targeted further education.
- The purchase of software for basic IT protection (e.g., anti-virus and anti-ransom software) is subsidized.
MID-Digitale Sicherheit offers a funding rate of 80% for micro and small businesses and 60% for medium-sized businesses; the funding amount is between €4,000 and €15,000.
