Culture and climate protection combined
The Culture4Climate initiative has launched the WIRKMÄCHTIG Award. This award is open to everyone in the cultural sector who promotes climate protection through innovative engagement and serves as a platform to recognize exemplary projects and their organizers. Cultural professionals, organizations, and networks are invited to submit their projects by April 7, 2024, and thus become part of a movement that demonstrates: climate protection and culture go hand in hand.
The Culture4Climate Climate Protection Prize is awarded in three categories: public and private cultural organizations, and individuals. With a total prize money of €10,000, the initiative honors those whose work makes a sustainable contribution to climate protection. Projects are evaluated based on their climate protection potential, their degree of innovation, and their ability to generate momentum and achieve a broad impact.
