Immerse yourself in the green future of industry
The CLIB International Conference (CIC2024), taking place in Düsseldorf from February 21-22, 2024, opens its doors to participants interested in the future of biomanufacturing. Under the motto "Biomanufacturing: A Greener Future," the conference offers a platform for discussing how biomanufacturing can transform industry and production methods and contribute to the biologization of industries. A particular focus is placed on how biomanufacturing can foster innovation, generate new value chains, and make positive contributions to combating climate change.
The conference includes various sessions covering topics such as reducing innovation barriers through enzymes in biomanufacturing, the use of C1 feedstocks, the implementation of biomanufacturing at the national and international level, biotechnological solutions for sustainable food, and the design of circular products.
Over 180 participants are expected, including representatives from industry, SMEs, research institutions, and political and trade associations. CIC2024 aims to initiate and strengthen partnerships within the bioeconomy and circular economy, which is of particular importance for the innovation ecosystem in North Rhine-Westphalia.
